This is the 3rd birthday cake I receive today. I remember when I was younger, I couldn't wait for this day. Because only on this day, I would get a lot of presents, my favourite raspberry cake and all kinds of well wishes. However, as I get older and older, I just wish nobody would notice my birthday at all.
It is a widely accepted adage that, "The older you get, the faster time seems to go." But why should aging have this effect? After all, there is the parallel adage that, "Time flies when you are having fun." But as we age, time flies whether we are having fun or not.
Now, I wouldn't care less, whether young or not so young, I will do whatever I enjoy and enjoy whatever I do! Cheers and Happy Birthday to ME!
