ION Orchard opens...

ION Orchard seats at the prime site of Singapore's renowned shopping artery, straddling at the junction of Orchard Road and Paterson Road. Shoppers also enjoy seamless and convenient accessibility to nearby and adjacent major retail and commercial centres like Wheelock Place, Wisma, Tangs, Isetan Scotts and a wide array of gastronomic establishments.

The buildings has been designed to house a direct linkway, offering shoopers/commuters sheltered walkway connecting from B2 of the Orchard MRT to L1 of Orchard Road.

When in full operation, ION Orchard will house about 400 retail, F&B and entertainement stores including high fashion flagship labels like Cartier, Christian Dior, Luis Vitton and Prada. Even the Singapore Airlines (SIA) is relocating its service centre in Paragon to ION Orchard mid next year.

The Orchard Residences, a high-rise residential condominium, built on top of the ION Orchard is expected to be completed by late 2009. This residential building will have a total of 175 residential units from th 9th floor to the 54th floor once completed, 4 of which are penthouses.

ION Food Hall, located on basement 4, will have the largest variety of food avaible in one location. Note: the prices of the food at this food hall are rather pricey.
