We all know that cycling is the main mode of transport in most parts of China. It is the cheapest mode of transport, no need for petrol, no parking fee, etc. It's not surprising to see so many bicyles in China, however, if this happens in Singapore, what's your reaction? ... WOW!
Finally, the much anticipated event for runners has arrived. Into its 7th year, there were 50,000 participants registered to run today. While I was still sleeping, the full and half marathoners were flagged off at 5.30am and 6.30am respectively. Men and Women 10km were at 7.30am and 8.30am respectively.
World Champion Keyan Luke Kibet won the Men's Open category with a timing of 2:12:03. The Singapore Men's and Women's Open category came in with a timing of 2:49:42 and 2:56:31 respectively. Well done guys! left: assembly point of men & women 10km right: women 10km waiting to be flagged off
